“As a creative, I am dispelling the negativity that surrounds my homeland daily. There is so much love and treasure in Haiti, and I want to be a vessel in letting the world know that, through my voice, my pen, and my lens. My purpose is to mirror the same, yet a different sense of captivation of how beautiful our people are, what we do, what we eat, how we love, and how we live. Currently, Haiti is under so much strife right now; a strife that seems never ending. Through these pictures I want people to know that life and love still and will always exist here, no matter the forces that be, that try to depict otherwise.” This is Haiti!
